OpenEXR viewer

Does anyone know of a free (preferably open source) decent openEXR viewer?

I tried the one from www.openexr.com, but it couldn’t handle lager images (due to lack of scrolling support).

Found some photoshop plugin’s but no viewer… I will look at sourceforge later on tonight.

Krita has some sort of OpenEXR support. I am not sure if it matches your requirements though.

unfortunately i’m running windows (ouch!) so Krita wont work for me, and i don’t have photoshop.

Most of the viewer out there are Linux based. However, I think Xnview supports OpenEXR. It’s free, but not opensource. Not sure if it would properly handle the multilayer EXR files produced by Blender though…

And of course, you can always view them from within Blender.

http://www.cinepaint.org/ might help.

y not just use the UV/image editor and open it up?

This one is supposed to support multi-layer OpenEXR.

Haven’t tried it yet myself … so report back how it works.

that seems to be what im looking for, unfortunately it seems the exr files generated by indigo are 1600 x 1200 for some odd reson…

edit: also unfortunately you cant adjust the exposure from the gui.

The best option for me is DarkTable:
