Beautiful interpretation of Shakespeare’s tragic heroine; a fine addition to the long tradition of classic painters’ images, too (Pre-Raphaelites et al.) A sense of final, peaceful rest from her sadness & madness, Rejected by a Prince, embraced by the innocence of Nature, we can be both happy & sad for her. Do more.
