Hi, I was hoping you guys can give your opinion, which version looks the best, thanks!
Cool character! In my opinion, the top one looks better. It has a more interesting silhouette than the bottom one, and I think it meshes well with the style of the rest of the robot. I think you can improve it by moving the legs forward or adding a tail section so it doesn’t look off-balance.
Thanks! It actually has a tail. I’m going to add some more images,
if you can tell me what you think then it would be much appreciated.
Combine both versions, …lets see how that looks like.
Will do! Gonna post more images when done.
Uploaded new images!
I like the first overall, but perhaps you could try to use the head of the last as the tail? Feels like it needs balance, missing a tail
Cool, gonna rework the tail a bit.
I would go for the first one. It looks like a bird but it isn’t a bird. The later ones do more resemble a bird. So first concept is the collest imo.
Thanks! If you don’t mind, can you tell me what you think of the image? Also, do you think it looks balanced?
It doesn’t look balanced to me, the feet should touch the ground straight underneath the center of mass in order not to tumble forward. See this reference shot of a chicken, which has a very comparable body shape: https://media.istockphoto.com/photos/live-chicken-isolated-on-white-background-picture-id485429854
The other option, if you want to keep the feet as far backward as they are now, is to create balance by adding a long tail, much like a Velociraptor:
On a different note, I do like your design, it looks awesome.
Heavy Horizon Zero Dawn vibes, I love it!
I would go with the cicrular head with the long neck, and include the axe-like stuff as well just above the chest plate maybe
I like the first one. Like in Horizon Zero Down))))) Nice Job
Thanks! I’m gonna try some more conepts.
Added a tail, and blades on the chest plate.
Also, as a side note, I based the original concept off of an ostrich, but dint place enough mass at the back to balance it.
