For selecting vertices, edges or faces in edit mode, I’ve used the selection options that are available in Blender 2.79, such as checker deselect, inverse, etc. But is there an easy way to select vertices in a particular pattern? For instance, every third vertex in every fifth row. I know that checker deselect has settings for every Nth, skip, offset, etc. but these aren’t advanced enough. Maybe there’s an add-on that has better selection tools. Does anyone know?
Could use a vertex group to deselect vertices in between. Or could do checker deselect twice and use expand/contract selection after multi-select loop/ring to get the junction points.
