Abstract work in which the Organic extrude tool was heavily involved.
Rendered in 2.42 and brightness/contrast adjusted in Paint Shop Pro 7 (since that’s easier then compositing nodes).

The texture is quite simple actually. You just use a ramp shader with 4 or more colors and alter the base color.
Then you set it to be slightly transparent and set refraction and transmissivity settings.
