Also, I’m probably going to extend the contest deadline again. I know it’s kinda weird to have it past Halloween, but still, I think we can swing it. I certainly can’t move the deadline any sooner than Halloween anyway, so why not? Vote on this (see poll above)!
And prizes… Hos got us a cool new Blender 2.0 Guide! And like I said we can donate anything! Seriously. I think I might donate a large bag of Lay’s potato chips.
But anyway, just to let you know the contest is still “alive” and things… and will stay that way. And some of the entries I see here are very impressive. Sheesh. It gets better every year! Keep up the good work guys!

I only allowed entries to be uploaded for a day?! I do think the entry-uploading time was longer than that… especially cause I didn’t stop it in time. I really can’t remember. It wasn’t that long, just confusing!!!
If the Gates Of Hell contest is a sub-contest in “OTH,” and we submit a picture for it, is it taking away from our 3 pictures for “OTH,” or is it entirely different?
I think since it’s a sub contest it will be taken from the max of three… but really, I don’t see why people shouldn’t submit as many images as they want. So…
I’d like to see the deadline kept as Halloween. Otherwise, it’s like doing Christmas in July - Just not the same
Maybe the dead line for interactive / animated entries could be delayed a bit.
One of the great things about the previous OTH contests was seeing all the people brave enough to submit their entries early.
So far, I’ve only seen about 6 or so people’s entries. Last time there was about 90 entries or more - hopefully this time round, there will be even more entries.
Not sure why there isn’t more… Last minute entries, procrastination, Not as many prizes, intimidation by some nice work posted recently :o ???
Hopefully people will see this as a more ‘just for fun’ contest than a ‘Blend-to-the-death’ competition
Any word on when the submission page / viewing gallery will be ready?
