Out of VRAM in blender 4.1

Here I have a scene on viewport window but my vram usage shows 7.7/8gib and I can’t do render. This is very strange because this scene is small and not that busy. I have another scene that significantly bigger than this and had no problem in VRAM usage. I started experience this after updating to 4.1

I have a lot of file but only 2 scene that had this problem. Any suggestion? or It’s a glitch from 4.1?

It could be anything… whatever small/big means… how intense are the materials… (shader/textures)…

Maybe even try 4.2 ???

I just install older version (4.0.2) and it works like a charm (with the exact same file), this convinced me 4.1 has glitch in VRAM usage. I’ll try 4.2 soon

It is correct to use too much memory for the scene.

The image has more objects but less memory. (Blender 4.1.1 Release Candidate)

In this case, you can use Simplify as a temporary fix.

※ I know Blender 4.1.1 is preparing, and I don’t know if this is a bug.
I think there might be some differences in memory usage depending on each version.
