Outline to SVG plugin for Blender

Hi, I am exporting meshes as lines into Illustrator. Do you know how to preserve the scale? The Blender mesh is 400 mm and comes into Illustrator as 0.4 mm I know I can scale it up, but this is a tedious process that involves many assets to 3D print and Laser Cut, it would be great if the files come as they are without the need to scale up things in Illustrator.

AFAIK in SVG the scale is defined by the viewBox attribute… see:

…of course this “should” not be needed but it seems it’s by the factor 1000 off… i’m to distracted right now to think about if this should be multiplied or divided by 1000 or any simple script to changes this into new files with the apropraye factor…

I am not a code person, but as I understand from your message, I can not change it to have a consistent unit.

Just change the four defining numbers of the ViewBox by a factor of 1000, editing your SVG in any text editor
