Making progress :smiley: Couple of crits though, his hair looks to much like grass, make it skinnier. And the mudd dosnā€™t look slimpy/goopy enough.
And to fix the eyes, try just making the eyeball whiter.

Give him irises? Perhaps some blood-shot veins in there? Maybe some pink squishy flesh around the edges?

It gets dark around the bottom because of the high face count and AO. Do you have distances set to on in the AO settings?

Tweaked eyes, made hair slimmer(still looks like grass) and few little tweaks here and there.

Iā€™m not sure why anyone would use AO without distances pressed. I canā€™t remember if it affects render time directly but in my opinion with a little tweeking of the distance factor it always results in a better looking render. I hope your final has a higher sample count however and I do say that it looks much better now, even the eyes! :o

I always use the Distance button. I think it does affect the render time to some extent, but Desoto is correct. It make sit look better for sure.

You should add some sweat marks to the arm pit area on the shirt and some dirt/grime on the shirt and shorts too.

Everything looks great exept for the hair,
if you wanted it to look like it was buzzed, you should add a bunch of short hair.

Yes I think the hair needs work as wellā€¦ it seems as though if you were to remove it it would look better. Or perhas just a few strands the way Homer has it.

Well here is nera final, i made new arms, rendered it big and notice that elbows are too high %|

About AO thing i really dont know how it works and what button to press, im one of those Blenderers who just press buttons to see what happens (i alvays press and twek more than one so it is harder to know what made what), but u helped me ther so thanks.

Actually there is still many buttons that i dont have slighest idea what they do, some of them i looked from dictionarry and i still dont know how effect :smiley:

The pupil of the eye is a hole covered with clear tissue, so yes spec. :stuck_out_tongue:
