The big Blender Sculpt Mode thread (Part 1)

It’s a bit confusing, but the Remesh modifier in the Sculpt Mode builds is created by a different developer than Pablo (@scorpion81) and it uses OpenVDB with all associated smoothing algorithms. I’m not sure if Pablo’s Remesh function (button in Sculpt Mode) uses OpenVDB as well (without smoothing) or if it’s a custom voxel remeshing algorithm. I’ve found it to be very similar to the Voxel Remesh function in Sculpt Toolkit. But maybe Sculpt Toolkit also uses OpenVDB. :dizzy_face:
