Hi Blender Artists!
We’re looking for a 3D designer experienced in industrial or transportation design to create a realistic model of a real-world light helicopter (based on technical drawings, specifications, and real photos and videos). The project is paid and split into two stages.
1. Type of Project
Modeling + Rendering (Stage 1)
Full 3D Model for animation and web use (Stage 2, optional)
2. About us
A small international team launching a new helicopter for civil aviation and air rescue purposes. The project will be used for marketing materials, print brochures, and interactive configurators.

3. Who We’re Looking For
- A 3D artist with industrial design experience
- Skilled in modeling real objects (not just sci-fi or concept art)
- Understanding of engineering-like accuracy
- Fluent in Blender (or can deliver .fbx/.obj/.glb)
- Basic English (enough to read technical docs/specs)
4. Deadline
We expect the first stage (render-ready outer model) within 1 week of assignment.
The second stage will be negotiated after we see the test result.
5. Project Description
Stage 1 – Test Render
- Model the exterior body of the helicopter based on photos and blueprint data
- Key elements: smooth rounded front, panoramic windows (4 segments), 3 main rotor blades, 2 tail blades, skids.
- Dark blue glossy finish (luxury look)
- 3 studio-style renders (white background, clean lighting, brochure style)
Stage 2 – Full 3D Model
- Interior (2+2 seating, beige leather), cockpit
- Export-ready for video and online configurators
- Possibly used in Unreal / WebGL
- You will receive:
- PDF spec (translated)
- Photo references
- Visual notes
6. Budget
Please include your rate for Stage 1 (test render) and examples of similar work.
The full model (Stage 2) will be a separate paid job if we’re happy with the result.
