[PAID] Character Mascot Vector Tracing + Rig — Blender Grease Pencil (Remote, Hourly)

I need an existing character mascot hand-traced from an original reference image and rebuilt in Blender using Grease Pencil.

This must be genuine manual tracing/redrawing — drawing paths over the reference and shaping them by placing and adjusting points (pen/point-based work), not automated tracing or AI tools.

Software requirement: Blender only. This project is specifically avoiding Adobe products (Illustrator, Animate, After Effects, etc.) — please only apply if you’re comfortable working entirely in Blender.

Deliverable: a clean, organized Blender (.blend) file with editable Grease Pencil strokes, ready for further use. Clothing items (hoodie, pants, shoes, accessories) must each be built as separate, individually named, swappable layers rather than baked into one shape. Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining the original character’s essence is crucial.

Rigging requirement: the eyes and mouth need to be rigged, not just static shapes — built with an armature/bones (or an equivalent pin-based control setup) so I can personally grab and pose them myself afterward, not limited to a fixed set of presets. In addition to the rig itself, please also build named preset poses for the core expressions (neutral, happy, angry, surprised) so there’s a working starting point, but the underlying rig needs to support free manual posing beyond those presets. Eyes should likewise be set up as swappable/posable states, not baked into one fixed look. Let me know in your reply how you’d approach building this (weight-painted bones, pin/hook-based control points, etc.) — happy to hear your recommended method.

Process/documentation: before starting, you’ll be asked to sign a short confidentiality agreement. All work product (including drafts and working files) belongs to me upon payment. Along with each deliverable, I need dated working versions saved at each major stage, plus a brief note on what was changed at each one — this documentation showing manual, hands-on edits is required, not optional.

Rate: open to discussing hourly or flat-rate depending on your estimate once you see the reference image.

Please reply with relevant Grease Pencil work you’ve done before (a portfolio link is great) and your estimated timeline. Happy to share the reference character once we’re talking.
