Hey all,
I’ve just finished a short film and I need some fire FX done on four shots. I’m an after effects compositor and I tried to teach myself blender over the past few weeks but I’m struggling to get what i need. I’m looking for someone to generate the simulations and I will composite them myself.
The job is paid but it’s short film money so I’m hoping to get some quotes from you guys and to discuss what’s possible.
The shots are:
Close up of a match lighting petrol on a rug
Fire in the foreground of a character close up
Exterior fire bellowing out of windows high up on a building
An explosion from another window on the same building
It’s a moody short film and I need the fire to be aggressive and realistic.
