We have a website with 3D assets on it. This website is hosted on Wordpress and uses Woocommerce to display product information/files/thumbnails/categories etc.
We want to allow users to log into their account through Blender with an asset manager type panel, to view all the products and download whichever one they want.
The product will then be downloaded onto their PC, unzipped and put into a folder reflecting the product category on wordpress (for example Equipment>Guns).
The user can then see what they have/have not downloaded.
I have had multiple different options for how to approach this such as using Woocommerce REST API, Wordpress REST API, plus having a seperate server to host all the procducts and download from there.
Ideally iād like to keep it inside wordpress because it holds all the information we need in one place. Plus the REST APIs should allow users to login and view profile information too.
