Task Overview
I need help cleaning up an STL file for CNC milling. I have scanned a wooden deck piece that I would like to reproduce as a replacement part.
What I Need
- Review the existing STL scan of the deck piece
- Clean up any scan noise, defects, or irregular geometry
- Prepare the model so it is suitable for CNC milling
- Provide the final file in a format appropriate for machining, as agreed in advance
Project Goal
The goal is to create a clean, accurate digital model of the scanned part so it can be manufactured as a replacement.

If any dimensions, tolerances, file format preferences, or CNC requirements are missing, please contact me through the platform so we can confirm the details before work begins.
Also note I need the area from the green lines upward (will share photos and files once someone is selected), so the bottom trim, the pedestal, and the ornament at the top. All other parts should be erased.

Freelancers with experience in STL repair, 3D scan cleanup, and CNC-ready model preparation are preferred.
