Painting bitmap masks on PBR model in the viewport - how?

I have a mesh with PBR textures that look too clean. I’d like to be able to paint a mask (grayscale image, using some grunge bitmap brushes and whatnot) in the 3D view right on 3D model while PBR material is displayed (I am guessing it would be Eevee renderer mode). Then I can use the mask image to tune all textures from PBR material in GIMP. Is such thing even possible? How can I do this? Thanks
