Pantograph vector renderer version 0.2

Hi rocketship,

it’s the author of VRM here.
I really like your results, my compliments.

I also thought to approach the problem with BSP plus a cutting pass a la Weiler-Atherton, but I lacked the time (and the skill, I suppose  ).

If you have some time write me an email (you find the address on VRM page), I would like to make some more comments with you about our different approach to the problem on 3d vector rendering.

I was thinking also about a unified 3d vector renderer project, there are many incomplete projects floating around and It’s a pity to scatter the efforts.

Best wishes, Antonio

That’d be great  ( if is possible  )

I think blender with vector rendering(exporting to svg and the power that it has…specially if in a manner that is accurate, as typical automatic vectorizing tools in 2d packages do just a raster to vector thing, not a mathematically perfect thing, which is what would add a way to work very useful for several fields of design… ) would be such an incredible tool for vectorial stuff, general design…I am absolutely sure.

Antonio,

I would love to collaborate! I’d love to hear your thoughts about Pantograph.

cheers,
RS
