hi
this is my 3d model from Parinaz Izadyar, a persian actress
modeled and rendered in blender
I just started learning character modeling and I would love to hear your comments and tips!
overall very impressed by realistic render and face shading, will not comment on likeness since I am not familiar with person.
I do have some anatomy suggestions (maybe for next project if this is finished):
-bottom of the nose should connect with philtrum via slope, here you did almost a sharp angle
-same thing with bottom of nostrils
-on her left side of the lips where lower lip meets upper, you have two dark lines, which would indicate a fold of skin in there which look unrealistic
-hair looks plastic, you should use hair cards or hair particles if you are going for realism
also the scarf looks plastic, I suggest maybe add some thickness and remove sharp edges. Some texture would add to realism of it.
thanks a lot for your tips.
i try to create a more realistic character.
and this is her real picture ![]()

The hair and scarf are the weak points.
Since you don’t show much hair it should be easy to use particles.
Maybe do the scarf with cloth (silk) preset and pinning to get more realistic results.
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!

Thanks for your guidance
