this is really nice, animation is good. id love to see the night time shots in motion as well as more of the building/ less mountain vegetation. but solid work, lot of attention to detail

Thank you, due to the client’s specifications he wanted a lot of summer in these scenes.

We also did some winter images but very few so it wasn’t worth putting them in the animation.

I attach a winter scene we made, the problem we had was that we didn’t have the background in winter and we transformed it to winter in PSD but I feel it didn’t look very good. :upside_down_face: :upside_down_face:

@70-7Studio - wow that is outstanding work! Really love the vibe - can almost feel the fresh mountain air. And both the interiors and exteriors are equally good.
I really love the whole pool/pool water shader setup with the tiles. It feels so real. Do you mind to share your shader setup for it?

If you don’t mind a bit of constructive criticisms (to your overall really really stunning images)

  • the river water seems too smooth to me and the color changes a lot between the shots. Even in the summer shots it looks a bit like ice to me
  • in the pool shot where we are overlooking the pool and the sunbed is at the bottom right of the image: the grass on hill behind the hotelroof where there are no trees, seems a bit too even and cg’ish
  • in the stunningly beautiful bathroom image, the tiles feel a bit flat. Maybe a bit of very blurry reflection is missing? Not sure, but they don’t seem to have the same depth as the other materials

But these are all tiny details - as I said, overall STUNNING work!

We have recently switched to DaVinci as well - just out of curiosity, are you using it only for the videos or also for the stills (as we do)?

Thank you very much for your comment, I’m glad you liked it.

  1. Sure, I attach an image with the shader I used for the static pool image, in the animation there is another configuration, it is really very simple, see that I also used 3 modifiers, subdivision and 2 displacement, also activate the caustics functions. (It will take a lot of time for the image but I think it’s worth it).

Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate it and I will keep it in mind for a next project.

Davinci I’ve been using lately for videos only, for images I still use Photoshop but I don’t do much postproduction, just color and contrast adjustments and little else.
