You did it again! Looks awesome.

Can you share render times? How Long did it take to develop the concept? Did you use any references like technical drawings?

Beautiful!
How long does it take to produce an image of this quality?
Do you usually get the building model from your client?

I’m always impressed by your lighting and color management.
Are you using ACES ?

Fabulous! Love the lighting. And it would be nice to visit this place.

Outstanding work :+1: composition & details are on point. :ok_hand:
I wish you post RAW render, How many Hours of Work!
Do you have any making of, I would love to see your workflow.

@allanbs Thank you!

Render times on rtx 2080ti were about 25 minutes for a 4K resolution. This is a commercial work and its concept was already designed and because of that I have been provided with technical drawings. For the right mood and lighting I looked a lot for references especially similar “high rise” designs on Behance.

@Reuf_Novalic Thanks a lot! I think the whole process of working on this project took about 3 weeks but there was a lot of feedback from the client and it simply prolonged the overall time spent on this project. For this project I didn’t get the model but creating this building was actually pretty simple - I used some array and mirror modifiers and beacuse the cameras are from some distance to the building I didn’t have to go too much into the details

@AntoineBagattini Thank you  I didn’t, its simply Filmic, but after seeing the 3rd May Avenue by Adrian Długosz I really need to get into this

@MartynJBull Thank you! It is still a concept project but maybe some day

@Rp2 Thanks a lot! I didn’t prepare any of making ofs but I do have raw render before postprocessing, here it is for the first image for example:

not much difference between final render but here I added some colour correction and lighten up the center of the image for more “depth”.

Great work!
Enjoyed looking at these images. I liked how sight is drawn from bottom to top of the image following the “light path” created through asphalt speculars at the foreground, light enhancement inside lower building’s offices at midrange and the sky reflected at glazing angles of the facade at the background.

Anyhow, are the images lighted by any chance using 3dcollevtive’s real light hdri packs?
Regards

Thank you! Yes I deliberately composed images so that all the main lines and light accents focus on the main building in the middle - it was really fun since clients usually don’t allow for some creative freedom in their projects.

The HDRIs used in this project are from polyhaven.com - venice_dawn_1, kloetzle_blei and drackenstein_quarry

Nothing that hasn’t been heard before, but that kind of clients are the ones that you like working with. Results turn out automatically way better when you have that freedom while creating.
Thank you for the info about skies, I appreciate it!
