I am making a simulation with boids particles inside a mesh (I have applied collision physics to the mesh, inverted the normals and applied all transformations) and for some reason, the particles do not collide to the edge of the mesh and leave a gap from all sides. How can I fix this?

Hi, works for me,
I made everything at pos 0,0,0 and used collection to hide my instanced firefly
heres a file…
Weird. I also just made another scene and it seems to work in that but not on my original file. Can’t figure out the problem exactly. Do you mind checking for errors in this file? (made in v2.93.1)
Particles Collision Error.blend (3.1 MB)
I find it best to set everything to 1:1
Apply scale. Location and rotatation.
Then play with the particle scale in the settings or in edit mode only.
I actually tried applying scale but the same problem persists. Does it work fine on your computer?
No, only looked didnt try to solve yr problem again as i sent you a file…(that solves yr problem)
Figured it out finally. I had changed the scale from default 0.05 to 1. If I change it back to 0.05, it seems to work. Don’t know why though.
I do not use halo, as explained, I use an object.
