Is it possible, to use a noise texture to control the distribution of particles?

example, I have a strand of grass I made, I create a plane with hair particles, I then set the emitter type from path to object, which I set to my piece of grass…

But its very uniform, so I want to control it using a noise texture.

you can use the “Emit From” settings in the particles options.
