Path draw effect? urgent!

I have to put a reel together in the next two days (interview on thursday or friday!) and I want to animate writing letters in neon and particles. the neon and particles I can handle but how do I animate a path drawing effect like this? will I have to do it for every letter if they are on separate paths?
