Pathway to my imagination?

I have been fiddling around with the raytracing part of blender and I am trully facinated with how it works and what you can do with it. Here is something a came up with while fiddling around.

I don’t really like abstract stuff, so I can’t comment much on it… but why is the texture on the sides so pixelated?

I don’t know, I am working on making it a bit nicer anyway but not straight away because I am working on something a bit different at the moment
