Hi All,

I wanted to practice making a simple yet effective texture. This uses 1 photo texture for diffuse, which I then modified in gimp for bump, and spec. Even though it’s basic I thought it turned out alright and since I never post pics I thought… hey why not.

this is done with Blender Internal but I think I’ll try rendering it out in Cycles for practice.

Wow! Very realistic. Well done.

the rocks gotta be bigger…those small ones make the pennys look huge!!!

it rendered quite fast with only 200 samples. The defocus is in camera, I was really impressed +1 Cycles fanboy.
