people who have used tuhopuu2

if you have used tuhopuu2 and you remember you can see the dynamic shadows please let me know if you can see it from this file

http://www.savefile.com/files/4236303

and if you can post the graphics card name you’re using in case you can see it,
I’m using a Geforce FX 5200 and it works for me.

Hi, tuhoppu2 use an old version of a lib that is used to make the dynamic shadows, the newest 3D drivers and 3D grafics do not support that old version any more, so just old drivers and 3D grafics will be able to display what you want.

That´s a note that a get from Nvidia when I was trying to reincorporate tuhoppu2 features into the oficial blender tree a few months ago.

Cya.

it seems entirely possible that newer drivers broke the approach blender used, it did work before

… works with a mesa dll I had lying around [if very slow]

where did you put the dll, in the windows directory or in the game directory?

hi
where is tuhopuu2 link ?

the directory I had my tuhopuu2 exec in, I didn’t try it with your file but rather one I had from earlier
[I was using the tuhopuu2 blender.exe, not the player]

o it is good i see dynamic shadows but no bump
good job man :smiley:

is tuhopuu2 release or what

look
in NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti 4200 it is ok dynamic shadows but no bump
and in
NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT no dynamic shadows and no Bump
good lack

@z3r0 d
do you know if i can use my opengl32.dll as mesa.dll?, maybe this can help

@samas
i don’t know if you can download it from somewere, but you can sendme your e-mail in a pm and i will send it to you

I compiled that mesa dll, the filename is opengl32.dll

I don’t understand your question [and I can’t see how it would help, mesa is horribly slow]

oh, i see, what i try to say is:

can i use my opengl32.dll(the file that came by default in my graphics card) in the blender directory?

that’s because i don’t have a computer to test if it works or not, in the computers that i can use, dynamic shadows and bump works.

chances are the opengl32.dll from your graphics driver works only with your particular graphics card [or at the very least ones from the same vendor]

so it doesn’t really buy you a whole lot

can you send me a copy of the compiled mesa?
