I made an animation for a friend and I wanted to get peoples opinion about it. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post it though. It has the Oblivion game logo in it and the back ground of the main menu. I think these may be copyrighted. Am I allowed to post it? Also where should I upload the video? and is it alright to post a request for some simple scripts in the script section? Thanks in advance.
I don’t know about the copyright issue… You should upload it at either Vimeo.com or Youtube.com
and yes, you can post requests for scripts
If you use work from others, it’s fairly simple I guess: ask the copyright holder / client what you may and may not.
(Even if you make something yoruself, it doesn’t mean you have the (full) rights of this work, depending on country/local law/contracts/terms).
