Phone Screen texture

Hi, I’m quite new to blender and was wondering if anyone could help me with materials.

The basic idea for the object that I am making is a hand coming out of a phone screen, so that it looks like the phone screen has kind of melted on to it, or the hand is pushing out.

I’m struggling to make the hand have the same vibrancy as the screen.
I would like both the hand and screen to have a lcd (liquid crystal display) - like texture, so glass-like with emission without compromising the vibrancy of the colours.

Right now,

My ‘phone screen’ is:
jpeg as plane
surface (emission strength 5)

My ‘hand’ is:
Principled BSDF
GGX
Christensen-Burley
Basecolour : image texture (jpeg)
cubic
flat
default subsurface settings
viewport display: roughness 0.15

Thanks!

Maybe less roughness some more transmission and for the screen a second one with little offset and using the same shader as the hand…? Mayeb also using projection UV for the hand…

Thanks! will try that out

why not just use the same material as the screen? bump up the gloss and emission? it will be hard to match the vibrancy of a emissive material with a non emissive one

do you want the hand to look like a hologram?
try this

or this
