PhotoLine 24 released

This release features a lot of day-to-day workflow improvements. One of my favorites is that it is now possible to move selections of pixels without having to first duplicate these to a new layer. This speeds up pixel art and screen design work.

Other note-worthy additions:

  • layer compositions: save multiple variations/states of your project in one file.
  • export settings can be assigned to layers and pages, and multiple export targets can be set as well as multiple resolution.
  • complete overhaul of the appearance and functionality of the document windows in MS Windows. It looks very nice now instead of the extremely clunky looking old-style windows.
  • layer masks and clipping layers now fully support 16/32-bit colour depth
  • GIMP files can be read and imported

Nice.

How about some AI-powered tools? PhotoPea keeps up with Photoshop quite nicely in that regard.
