Pilot: New Community Links section

Hey!

I’ve just added a new section to the sidebar called ‘Community Links’, thinking it might increase the activity on artwork posts (giving the artists some more likes and responses), and to help support posts get more answers by making it easier to access unanswered topics.

Since we already have a bunch of links in the sidebar, I added a bit of visual emphasis to it as I believe it’s an important one, and not on the same level as the menu above it.

I’ll run this for a few weeks and see if it made a difference. Also happy to collect your feedback - did I miss any important links? Is this annoying? etc.

PS: You can create your own sidebar sections too - click the ‘+’ icon at the bottom of your screen. If you came up with something useful, please share!

I like the new update! In my opinion, it made it considerably simpler to maneuver around. :smile:

Finally, a huge number of sidebar links had been annoying me for a really long time.

“Huge”? Which ones? All that I removed was the tags section.

Either that was Mandela effect, but I just remember there were many links until now. Nevermind.

Some first results: the ‘time to first response’ saw a HUGE improvement after this change!
