Actually, no – because of the shape of the setting and the gemstone. Don’t judge it just by what you can see. Yes it is almost round… almost. thats why it need to be diamond or sapphire to not break. Force is calculated for gem so for rhodonite it can’t be “hell” huge because it has only about 5 Mohs.
