I have an idea for an add-on so I thought I would try to write it myself. I am a complete beginner at coding so I wanted to run my idea past any experienced coders first to know whether it is possible before I commit to it.
All the add-on tabs in the “N” panel list vertically. The more that are installed the smaller the tabs and the harder it gets to read the tab. What I would like to do is have an add-on that when it is clicked it will display a horizontal list of the add-on’s so that when I click on an add-on in the list the add-on’s panel will then open. My add-on does not have to automatically register a new add-on when it is installed, I am prepared to update the script manually when this occurs, I just want to know if it is possible to write a script to do what I have described.
