Playing action in Game engine problem

I rigged a human model and made a simpe walk cicle.If i press Alt-A the mesh is doing the animation. In the ipo editor i conected it to the action editor and that i set that the mesh in the game engine is always doing the action from frame 1 to 40,the wholw walk cycle. I typed the name of the action and set the frames and connected the sensor and actuators but when i start the game engine the mesh is in the rest position and it isnt moving at all. Anyone knows how to resolve this?

I resolved the problem . i had an armature modifier so the mesh was moving but i didnt parent the armature to the mesh. Sorry
