Please Help me replicate a lithophane's light in blender

Hey, so I’ve been trying to replicate some 3D printed lithophanes I’ve made in blender. The problem is I’m not that good at lighting and shader nodes and haven’t had too much success in getting the results I want. If you can help, even just pointing me in the right direction, that would be great. Here’s an image of one of the lithophanes irl:

I’ve got the model I use for printing in blender, just need to figure out how to get the light to interact with the panes in the right way to get the same effect.
Thanks

Hi any luck with this? I also need help imitating a lithophane effect so I can send a visual sample to my clients before 3d printing the actual litophane product.

I did end up getting a decent result. Can’t quite remember what I did, I might have used SSS? I can see if I can find the file later today.

thanks. that would be really helpful.

Here is what I came up with, and the result just in the viewport.
Just a volume scatter node for the panes and a sphere in the middle with an emission node.
