hello, am trying to recreate a classical western scene in Blender
and want to know how you people would take on the poncho of Blondie in " the dollars trilogy"
a normal cloth simulation over a the character works fine, but I want to know how to throw over
the shoulder a part of the poncho…
is there something like moving a pinning point after the simulation? a second cloth simulation??
thanks in advance for your thoughts
maybe I didn t make myself clear enough…
the right corner (X) has to go over the left shoulder…
is it eventually possible with hook?

use pin-and-collide

thanks, I am aware of those functions… but would you please show or tell me HOW you would do it?
can this " pinning" change location after a simulation?
i would more likely go the collider way, either static, real-time or pre-animated.
thanks again , but that sounds a bit latin to me…
am absolute beginner when it comes to those cloth simulations…
any other tips someone?
Hey, i know its been quite a while but did you ever figure out how to do that Poncho?
