Portal 2 Turret

A Portal 2 turret I’ve been messin’ around with using Cycles. Imagine my disappointment when I went to make muzzle flashes and smoke, and found out Cycles doesn’t do that yet. :frowning:

not? how about particle system? and smoke?

Can Cycles render smoke? I was under the impression it can’t at this point. I’d love to be proven wrong though!

Why not render seperately and composite the two?
