Looks cool, the grass looks pretty realistic.

Extremely photo-realistic result!

Nice job! I agree, the grass is great; it’s my favorite part.

great, pro work - grass is perfect for archviz.the background trees are modelled in?-you should write a “making of”

Wonder what’s different since max v.2011 (patches of grass, trees, lighting…)? I find original more pleasing.

Thanks for the positive feedback.

@ burnin - Yes, this is the original model. They shared the scene for free on their facebook page a while ago. So I basically started with a obj model of the building. I made my own shaders, trees, patches of grass, flowers, lighting… I worked on this for learning and tests purposes. I wanted to see what could be done with cycles engine on an archviz scene.
To be honest, I also find the original more pleasing, but there is no shame in that, Jacinto Monteiro is kind of a CG Master!

I think you did a great job with the lighting, you rarely see partial-cloudy scenes where the lighting is even close to real, so that’s a nice job.

Wonderful! 5 stars from me

Very good. I love the modern style yet classic placement.

I like the lighting. It has some sad tones, that’s what i like the most. Grass is very good, much better than original. it’s yours right?

Good job overall

Great work lenain34 … Can you please share the specs of the machine, on which this scene was rendered along with the render settings, node setup and render time? Thx.
