Is there a way to pose a weighted mesh, and then make a model from that pose?
Like say, I made an armor for Skyrim, but want to port it to New Vegas, but the Skyrim skeleton stands like /\ and the FONV skele stands more like ||, and it seems like it would be a simple matter of using the already assigned weights and bones to repose the model without horrible distortions, rather than try to do so using the modeling tools.
edit: nm…think I just figured it out… make real and then apply the armature.
