The low-fi look is intentional and was achieved by just rendering at a low sample count and denoising, but I get that it might not be to everyone’s tastes, particularly as early generative AI videos also have this look.
I based it on the poem ‘Poseimon’s Dream’:
I am an everlasting darkness in an everlasting dream,
I am far beneath the surface of an ever running stream.I wash up before a mountain and pray my pain he’ll take,
I know the call is answered and the dreamer is awake.I see a light before me, forgiveness on its way,
A stranger in the darkness, the figure starts to sway.My laughter turns to crying and the tears become a globe,

I grant the gift of silence and in it I rejoice.Now I grow more tired and the day it is no more,
