It’s not a hack, usually when you see that, it’s a bug in the website code that may or may not be caused on a heavy traffic load on the site (or it might be that the traffic is enough that there’s not enough bandwidth to load certain elements properly).
BA’s been getting pretty busy at times in recent years.
