Post a pic of your workstation!

Its a Wacom Graphire Bluetooth 8x6". It works fine, and I like it.

Wow! LotRJunkie, you have exactly the same 3D world CD lying on your desk as I do!
I might post a picture of my workstation some time

Here’s mine, a bit older but looks almost the same.

Desk: (man that monitor looks so small in this pic… even though it’s a 21" wide)

Case (under desk):

heh heh,… what is everything placed on top of foam-like thing?

.b

Those foamy things under the speakers came with them in the boxes. Now I have some cardboard boxes under the speakers, to raise them a bit nearer to my ear level. And I’ve repleace the foamy thing under the case as well with “wave” card board. It just absorbs shocks / resonance better and I can move the case when the card board slides on the floor :eyebrowlift2:.

Oh right, and the screen has a mousepad under it so I can move it better too.

I know i already posted here, but i get my new flat on monday and i plan on getting an awesome setup.

wish me luck

lol Falgor - I think silver version of my monitor. Great monitors btw.

That always happens, until you have placed everything in position and are left with about 3kms of cables to hide…:spin:

Maybe it’s time for me to clean the desk :spin:

1.5 gb ram
ati x1800xt 512mb

Professional studios also put foam under their monitors. It’s better for the sound.
And damn, I have the same Samsung. Great quality for the cost.
P

Do their monitors make sound?

I can feel my e-penis throbbing…

I got this baby a month or so ago

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ @ 2800 MHz (Liquid cooled)

Maxtor Sata 2 HDD C:\ (250GB OS and Install)
Samsung Sata 2 HDD D:\ (400GB Data)
Monitor Type : ViewSonic VX912 - 19 inches

The monitor is a few years old.

He means the speakers.
Pro Audio speakers are called monitors, because they are used to monitor the sound, not just to listen.
The foam is specialised and restrains the resonance of the surface the monitors are placed upon so the output isn’t coloured by the surrounding area as much as it would be.

here is mine:

Sorry about the really crappy image, but my procam is at work and this is the cellphones cam 12.00 in the NIGHT! (and I am off to bed, really!)

Short: there are even more computers in there…but you cant see the other side
of the room…tried to get as much as possible in one shot…oh well…its a workbench
you get the idea…

Nice industrial look you got going there, Jongle.

yeah,…Im a tech-head…

(can you identify AND count the numbers of plushies and characters in there)?
Hehehe…(no joke…there are some, just look carefully)

Man, Philbo, you are advanced! - you don’t even have a keyboard! How’s that brain-jack workin’ for you?

It’s the ergonomic keyboard on the keyboard tray, it’s just tucked away. I should know since I was over at his place before.

What’s really amazing is that he gets anything done considering he works with 4 - 5 munchkins of his running around the house while he’s trying to blend. The man deserves a medal!
