Yeah this thread is a year old, but I don’t think that’s too old for this topic. Besides, I just cleaned my desk so I have to post a pic!

Edit: by the way, that is my ethernet cable coming through the ceiling. I think it’s 50 ft long to get to the router upstairs. Wired networks FTW!

I’m in a transition stage right now. I’ve got my computer half taken apart and my new case (and watercooling) sitting in my basement waiting for me to finish it (it’s a mod). Man… I really need to finish it. I didn’t spend ~$700 on a Tt Shark and watercooling for my CPU, GPU and N/S bridges for it to sit in my basement :rolleyes:.

Ill post an update when im finally not lazy enough to put my huge pc desk in my room (sitting in garage)
Mostly set up for my sound studio, but oh well. I plan on getting a tablet sometime. (same as i plan on getting a job)

Threads a little old but I updated a workstation about a month ago. I wanted to get a mac pro so I gave my Q6600 to my brother so he could use that for school. So now that I didn’t have a computer I had an excuse to get a mac pro =)

8GB ram installed (another 2GB standing by in storage… they work better in even sets)

Oh well, here’s my little corner room.

ASUS custom built computer.
8800 nvidia geforce GTX
3.2 Ghz intel core 2 duo
60 gig RAID’ed 10000 rpm hard drives (hey, i see no need for mass storage!)
Some motherboard…a good one though I got it the day it came out some months ago! lol…
Vista Ultimate! NO BSOD’S, MAC FANBOYS!!
and, of course, my flashy LED’s. it gives my room an eerie blue at night!

EDIT: holy crap, it’s wierd seeing your station on your monitor at your station!!
