Prerender really slow

Hello,

I started using a computer with a RTX3080 at work and the pre render time (when you start rendering before you see the first sample) takes a lot of time. I have a rtx3070 at home and the pre render is fast so I don’t think it’s a hardware issue. both configuration have 64go ram and both have recent CPU.
I already updated the drivers and selected Optix for rendering.

Any Idea where the issue could come from?

Usually happens when you have GPU compute as a device and your card doesn’t have enough VRAM to render your current project, try CPU compute. Using tilling with a smaller size and/or switching to CUDA may also work.

Remove and reinstall the graphics driver
Most graphics-related issues are addressed by reinstallation.

※ Updates and reinstallations are different.
The cause of the problem is likely to remain in Uptate. :thinking:
