Previs Artist needed

Job: Previs Artist
Contract: ~1 month
Involvement: ~40 hours/week

We’re DexMob and are currently contracted to produce the previs for a feature film.

We’re looking for a talented and fast thinking 3D artist who can quickly throw together a scene for feature film previsualization. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but has to get the idea across, it has to be done quick, and it needs to be agile for quick feedback and changes.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the PreVis team
  • Provide creative solutions and input
  • Create 3D assets, textures, shaders, layouts, build simple character rigs, basic animations
  • Take feedback and make changes
  • Deliver project files on time
  • Ensure backup of critical files until project completion and delivery

Qualifications

*Experience: 3+ years experience in 3D modeling, concept rendering and basic character animation
*Technical Skills: 3D software such as Blender and Unreal Engine. Adobe Creative Suite.
*Abilities: Effective and timely communication, excellent time management and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, detail orientated. Ability to think on your feet, work fast in the software and punch out some quick 3D set ups for the director to go over. Ability to endure high-stress projects and tight deadlines.
