Private beta testers wanted: Geometry Nodes learning/helper add-on for Blender 5.1

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a small group of private beta testers for a Blender 5.1.2 add-on built to help users learn Geometry Nodes inside Blender.

The goal is not to generate finished node trees automatically. The add-on teaches Geometry Nodes by showing:

  • what each node does in practical terms
  • what data type is flowing through sockets
  • small practice setups with missing connections to complete
  • selected-node visual previews in the node editor
  • fix/debug checks when a graph is incomplete or confusing

I’m especially looking for:

  • complete Geometry Nodes beginners
  • intermediate Blender users who know Blender but struggle with GN
  • advanced GN users or educators who can spot wrong explanations or bad learning flow

Testing commitment:

  • install a private beta zip
  • try a few searches such as curve to mesh, scatter grass, grid array, image mask, chain link, terrain heightmap
  • test the Learn, Build, See, and Fix tabs
  • send screenshots and short notes when something is confusing, wrong, or broken

Target version:
Blender 5.1.2 on Windows for this first test round. Mac/Linux feedback is useful too, but Windows is the current validation target.

This is a private controlled beta. I’ll send individual builds by DM/email rather than posting a public download link.

If interested, please reply here or DM me with:

  1. Your Blender/GN experience level.
  2. Blender version and OS.
  3. Whether you are more beginner, artist, educator, or technical user.
  4. One thing you currently find confusing about Geometry Nodes.

Thanks.
