Problem when adding materials


This happens most of the time when i add materials to some objects…can anyone help me close these gaps

There is not enough geometry for the displacement to work so it rips the seams. If this furniture I would just skip the displacement and rely on the bump/Normal map for the surface details.

could it be that the faces which do have a gap after the displacment aren’t connected so the use different normals ??
