I am facing some issue with setting background image. When I set the image it shows only half the image. Please see the screen shot. The original image is front view of a car.
One more issue is when I scroll mouse wheel, it disapears after some zoon out. Blender version 2.63 and I am using Linux Mint

Can’t really tell too much by looking at this screenshot. If you could, go to your UV editor, then click image, and pack image. Or click the datablock symbol next to the image to pack it. Then post the .blend file so we can take a look. Cheers
Moved from “General Forums > Blender and CG Discussions” to “Support > Basics & Interface”
There’s no view information in the top left corner, no mini axes and object information on the bottom left corner of your 3D view, you’re using Blender 2.63. Those suggest that you are using a repository version of Blender and/or the problem is in gpu/drivers.
If you’re using the repository version, download the latest from blender.org, unpack and run.
I also think your image size needs to be set to 1 not 5, but I’m not at home right now and could be completely wrong.
i also get this problem.
blender 2.66.1 win 7 32 bit.
Intel SIS Mirage 3+ SIS672 series.
seems to chop the corner when you zoom in.
doesnt happen on my other computer, probably graphic card.

Yesterday I tried to reply to this thread.Some how the reply didn’t go I suppose.
I tried with different image size - it didn’t work. And another thing is I tried the same blend file in my macbook and it worked well. So it may be an issue with the system I am using ( graphic card ) or Mint !!

probably just a bad graphic card.
i updated my drivers once, but didnt work, generic driver was terrible.
so i dont recommend it.
I posted a thread on a question I had and I can’t find it anywhere. All that typing lost. wth? Where is it?
