Problem with rigging leg

I’ve been using blender for quite some time now, but only for modeling and rendering simple scenes.
I’ve been experiencing with rigging for the first time. I’ve watched some tutorials, and i have made some experiences with it.
The problem is that i am stuck in a scene of current project that i am doing.
I have modeled a salamander and then i applied a rig to the whole body. It works great when i edit the rig, the problem is on the other leg. When I try to edit it, it doesn’t affect at all the body.

Did you properly name left and right bones? Do you use any mirroring technique? First thing to check is to see if that left arm meshes are properly weighed by that bone.
