Problem with uv mapping

Hello,
I just made a Shotgun, But when I used UV mapping it doesnt correctly fill everything up,
1 loop is total blank, and some squares are open

Whenever you have any strange mesh behaviour, start by:

  • applying object level scaling;
  • removing doubles;
  • recalculating normals.

Please do all of these before even thinking of posting a question to the forum.

You can’t expect a good UV unwrapping of a complex object until you have marked a few seams in obvious places.

Once you have done all that, you sometimes get a cleaner result for a hard-edged object by using conformal unwrapping instead of angle-based.
