Problems with baking

Hello guys. I’m trying to bake some textures (rubber, carbon fiber, metallic and plastic) for test as skin in counter strike. The uv map outputted is just glossy colored , the baking doesn’t bring the real “textures”. Other big question is how I match the uv map generated with default uv map for the gun in counter strike. I’ve tried simple colored textures but the skin looks tottaly chaotic in game

You may have to elaborate this to get a more suited answer. Because there are sooo much posibilties to do something wrong while baking…

What matching ??

  • If you made a model then your UV’s are the UV’s
  • If you “just” modding a model then you do not touch the UV’s.
